The loan approval process
Many of my customers come to me before they start shopping for a home in order to get pre-approved. A written letter of pre-approval makes it easier for you and your real estate agent when submitting a contract to the seller. Below is the process in securing an Ohio jumbo loan:
Contact me via email or phone at 440-666-6069 so we can go over your specific situation. Together we’ll can decide upon a loan best suited to your needs. A loan application package is emailed or sent FedEx to you, and whenever possible I’ll meet with you to go over the application. After signing the application you can drop it in the mail (or I will be collecting it from you) along with the documentation that is required to underwrite the file. Your loan file is then handled by my processor in Parma Heights, Ohio, to go through order title work, and appraisal, after this the file is delivered to the underwriter. Once the file has been underwritten any conditions which need to be fulfilled will be discussed with you, and the appropraite paperwork will be gathered and submitted for final approval. My closing department then coordinates with the title company to ensure the documents and instructions are being handled by the escrow agent. Once the closing statement is generated I will go over the file with you to make sure everything is correct, and you will be scheduled for signing.
